We were challenged to create authentic, truly tasty and emotions arousing tv advertisement for russian expats living in Germany (and other European countries as well) that reminded them of the food from their long forgotten days back in the USSR when one of their favourite dishes were manti.

Manti is not the same as russian dumplings. Although they look very much the same, and both consist of meat ball wrapped inside dough, what differs is the process of cooking. While dumplings are boiled in hot water, manti are steamed in special boiler. And what probably is the most important thing — manti should be juicy. So when you pick one, you first drink juice out of it. This as well is why manti usually are filled no only with meat but pumpkin and onion as well.
The decision was made to focus on ingredients and homy feeling of cooking because this product is truly hand-made and we wanted to accentuate its quality and add emotions by reminding of times when it truly was home-made from start to finish. Music is special — it uses typical russian instrument balalaika that unmistakably conveys Russianness and reminds of times when we all were one big and united soviet family. Now one can not only remember but turn back time as well by tasting something authentic and truly russian — juicy manti Sibirjak are waiting for you in all russian stores of Europe.
